Pizza is such an easy meal for the nights when you don’t feel like cooking but want to have a home cooked meal. A very sad thing happened where I thought I already uploaded this recipe so I deleted all of the pictures for it. If I make this again soon I will upload them for anyone who likes a visual.
- 1 Pillsbury pizza dough regular crust (You can make your own but if you do not have time then this one tastes amazing)
- 15 shelled shrimp
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (I use McCormick’s that only has basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and sage)
- 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Preheat oven to 400.
- *If using pillsbury pizza dough* Spread dough out on cookie sheet. Cook in oven for 8 minutes.
- In bowl mix melted butter, cilantro, garlic, and 1 tsp black pepper.
- Spread butter mixture on dough.
- Cook shrimp in skillet on stove with a little olive oil, rest of black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Cook until browned on both sides.
- In bowl mix tomato paste, olive oil, water, and Italian seasoning. Spread on top of dough over the butter mixture.
- Mix parmesan and mozzarella together and spread over crust.
- Spread shrimp out evenly over pizza.
- Place pizza in oven and cook for 10 minutes or until browned.
- Enjoy!
Let me know if you try this and what you think of it! Big hit over here with my party of two. Lol!
